Elastic Cord Tutorials

Elastic Cord
Simple, beginner-friendly projects using stretch cord.

Instruction 01 — Open Your Kit & Choose Your Pearls
Open your DIY kit and take out all the materials. Select the pearls you’d like to use and arrange them in your desired order.

Instruction 02 — Prepare the Elastic Cord & Thread the Pearls

Fold the elastic cord in half and hook it onto the threading needle. Thread the pearls onto the elastic cord one by one, following your chosen order.

Instruction 03 —— Push the Pearls Together & Check the Fit

Gently push all the pearls together so they sit snugly next to each other with no gaps. Wrap the bracelet around your wrist to check that the length feels comfortable.

Instruction 04 — Tie the Knot

Once you’re happy with the fit, tie two secure knots. Pull the elastic cord firmly to make sure the knots are tight. Leave about 3 mm (⅛ in) of cord at each end, then carefully trim off the excess with scissors.

Instruction 05 — Trim the Cord

Leave about 3 mm (⅛ in) of cord at each end, then carefully trim off the excess with scissors.

Optional: Use the gold-plated brass bead to hide the elastic cord knot for a cleaner finish.
